My first six months of RVing was filled with excitement, frustration, and sometimes boredom. In the beginning everything was very different and I didn't know what to expect. It was a whole new experience and I had never done something even close to it, but regardless I was still having fun.
At first, the biggest change was moving from our house into the Tumbleweed we had to get rid of lots of stuff and figure out what we could take. It was a lot less than we thought but I could still take my games and toys. That's how I can stay connected with my friends back home.
After we left Missoula we went to Columbia Sun River RV park in Kennewick, WA this was my first experience RVing away from home. This is where I found the ability to make new friends in the RV park. I met a kid named Jeremiah. He was a great friend and I loved playing with him. We had a lot in common and he was easy to play with, we built a fort in the woods and had lots of fun but sadly we only stayed there for a week.
We ended up going to Wilsonville, OR so my dad could work. He is a union electrician and can work wherever he wants. We stayed at Pheasant Ridge RV Park it was very quiet for around five months. We celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and my tenth birthday. Oregon was very wet and rainy for most the time we were there, we were glad there was an indoor pool and hot tub to get out of the RV.
Finally we got some good weather and I met a kid named Boone and he introduced me to many other kids. I had a great time and met many people we made forts, we talked about going hunting, played in a wagon and it was a good time, but after about a month it was time to move on.
All in all RVing has had its ups and downs but as long as we're together nothing can stop us.
Very well written River! I can't wait to read more!
